Texas AI Report is owned and operated by Matthew Bertram, an individual based in Houston, Texas. It is not owned by a media corporation, investor syndicate, or government entity.
Funding
Texas AI Report is paid for by Matthew Bertram. It has no outside sponsors, investors or advertisers, and no third party funds its reporting. If a sponsorship, advertising or grant arrangement is ever introduced, it will be labeled, kept separate from editorial, and disclosed on this page and in the affected content.
The editor's commercial interests
Matthew Bertram has commercial interests in the subjects this publication covers:
- CEO, EWR Digital: search and AI search visibility services, including optimization for AI assistants such as ChatGPT and Perplexity.
- President, ModalPoint: AI decision governance and advisory services to energy and industrial companies, including companies in Texas.
- Chief Marketing Officer, Oil & Gas Global Network (OGGN): an oil and gas podcast network founded by Mark LaCour, where he co-hosts one show; he does not own it.
A current or prospective client of EWR Digital or ModalPoint may be the subject of our coverage.
