AI policy is too consequential to be explained badly. Texas AI Report exists to give business leaders, policy practitioners, and informed Texans accurate, independently sourced reporting on what is actually happening with AI law and deployment in Texas — not what the press release says.

Texas AI Report is an independently owned publication, self-funded by its founder and editor, Matthew Bertram. It has no outside investors, sponsors, or corporate owners, and no advertiser or third party has any say over coverage. If that ever changes, any funding arrangement will be disclosed prominently here and within affected content.
